TIGS ETIQUETTE
When playing Stableford, all players must pick up their ball when unable to score on a hole. |
Players must keep up with the game in front, not just ahead of the game behind. |
Players unable to keep up with the game in front must call those following through. |
Jacket, collar and TIGS tie is the accepted dress in the clubhouse. Permission should be sought before jackets are removed. Members muat be properly attired to receive a prize (i.e. TIGS tie etc). |
No member or guest will be eligible to win a prize when not attending the dinner. |
Members not properly attired will be subject to a fine of £5. |
Smoking in the dining room is not allowed without permission. |

Members must familiarise themselves with any local requirements of the clubs we visit and comply with them. |
Mobile phones are not allowed on the course (except for emergencies) or in the clubhouse. Their use should be restricted to the confines of your vehicle. |

Four hours is the accepted time for a fourball playing 18 holes on a normal course. An additional half hour could be permitted on a difficult course or extreme weather conditions. The committee feel justified in penalising players taking an unreasonable time to play their game. |
On the course, divots must be replaced, bunkers raked and pitch marks repaired. Wide wheel trolleys only may be used and no litter left other than in bins. |
