The Lionel Ramus Trophy 2010 |
TThe 115th meeting of TIGS, 2nd of the season, was held at Worksop Golf Club (Nott’s) on Wednesday 21st April 2010.
The weather was fantastic with lots of sunshine as we have become accustomed on TIGS golfing days.
The course was in good nick although the greens were quite slow. Worksop allowed us to play from the white tees, which is not the norm for TIGS,
but I turned out to be the right decision as the yellow tees were quite far forward.
TIGS had quite a few firsts, 1 it was the 1st time TIGS had visited Worksop Golf Club, 2nd it was the 1st time the
TIGS new Captain’s drive went out of bounds, 3rd 1st time a member of 20 odd years has won a trophy.
