| Richard
joined TIGS in ’97 (and before you ask, Geoff Snape was responsible for
the intro), Richard Choroszewski, (b 1953), started playing golf in his
teens but as he only ever got to play a handful of times per year has
never been able to improve on his handicap.
Born and lived in London until 1989 when it was either move his business out of the urban sprawl or go bananas! Richard is the MD of Neptune Shipping Agency Ltd., now based in Callington, Cornwall, near to the St. Mellion Golf & Country Club. But he STILL only gets to play 6 or 7 times a year! Richard’s Company is one of the foremost forwarders of Ceramic Tiles and are members of the TTA (the Tile Association). In any one average month his firm carries hundreds of containers and trailers of ceramic tiles (and other products) to and from places throughout the world. Hobbies (when time permits) are sailing, scuba diving (former Diving Officer of London BSAC Club 358), Digital video/editing, computers and of course golf. If Richard ever reaches the heart of the green in one, let alone a hole in one he will die a fulfilled man – probably on the spot! Married to Rhonda in 1994, they have 2 boys – Wolfie,(born '95), Sam, (born '96) and a girl, Tean who was born in June '99. The Course he enjoys playing most, for sentimental reasons is Llandrindod Wells. Judging by reports and the TV, the course he would most like to walk, let alone play, is Loch Lomond, just begging for an invite (subtle he is not!).
